Nnyabo Ssebo 1st ALBUM

Formed in 2017 by Saeko Kurokawa (clarinet) and Yosuke Tanaka (guitar).
Nyabo=Mrs, Ssebo=Mr. The name of the unit comes from the sound of a word that left an impression on Kurokawa when she travelled to Uganda.
They have a nostalgic sound of clarinet and gut guitar, and their music is full of South American essence and odd time signatures.
This is a new kind of chamber music that does not seem to exist.

2017 年、黒川紗恵子( クラリネット) と田中庸介( ギター) により結成。
Nyabo=Mrs、Ssebo＝Mr。黒川がウガンダを旅した時に印象に残った言葉の響きからユニット名に。
クラリネットとガットギターのノスタルジックなサウンドを中心に、南米エッセンスや変拍子を巧みに取り入れた楽曲と絶妙なアンサンブルが魅力。あるようでなかった新しい室内楽。
